JAM (Jesus And Me), an after school program for 1st-5th grades, meets on Wednesday from3:30 pm-5:00pm. Children enjoy games, crafts, snacks and a bible lesson. The students also do mission projects, such as making cards for residents of the Arboretum Nursing Home and making blankets which were given to victims of Hurricane Harvey. One of the favorite fun activities is playing GAGA ball. Due to covid 19 we are not having JAM at this time.
Each summer we have an outstanding Vacation Bible School. Each evening children, youth and adults gather at the Family Life Center for singing, recreation, bible lessons, crafts, a light meal is also served. The theme changes each year but the decorations are always outstanding and really capture the theme and everyone’s interest. Adults and youth are encouraged to come and help.
